7 Months Old!

Logan is 7 months old today!! Time really needs to slow down, because our baby boy is growing up too fast! He is so close to crawling. It could literally be any day now! He loves his books. He is enjoying trying all his new fruits and veggies. His favorite veggie is either sweet potatoes or squash. He is still trying all the fruits, so not sure about a favorite yet. He has four top teeth and 2 bottom teeth that are coming in right now. He loves to be outside, even when its cold. He laughs at Penny and most other dogs that he sees. We love seeing his smiling face every day! Here are some pictures from his monthly photo shoot.

Gatlinburg Trip

We just got back from Logan's first vacation! We took a trip up to Gatlinburg for a couple of days. Logan did wonderful on the way up there. The drive up was gorgeous with all the of leaves changing colors on the trees. We stayed in a cute little cabin that my cousin and his wife had recommended. It was the perfect size cabin for the three of us.

The weather was beautiful on Wednesday, so we decided to head out to Cades Cove. Beautiful leaves all the way out there!

We did a little hike to an old homestead and took lots of pictures. We saw eight turkeys and one squirrel. We couldn't believe that we didn't see a single deer.

Richard took this one of the squirrel. He was sitting one the fence post next to the road and let him snap his picture.

We had a picnic lunch and a lady was nice enough to stop and offer to take our picture.

We hiked to Laurel Falls, which is 1.3 miles up there. Between pushing the stroller and then changing over to the carrier, we were tired! Everyone that we saw on the trail said that Logan had it made!

We walked downtown and did some shopping and ate at Calhoun's, which was delicious!

We went to the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Logan enjoyed looking at all the fish!

It was very cold the morning that we left, so we had to bundle him up for a few last pictures.

The ride home wasn't quite as pleasant as the ride up there, but we were still glad that we made the trip!!

6 Month Check Up

Logan did great today at the doctors office!! He now weighs 18 pounds 14 ounces and measures 27 & 3/4 inches long! We have a growing boy! He was happy for the nurse and the doctor. He cried for about 20 seconds while the nurse was giving his shots but as soon as we picked him up he was happy again. He was giving them grins before we left the office! Richard says that he is making Logan tough! He was proud of him!!

6 Months Old!!

Logan is 6 months old today!! He is growing up so fast! He is sitting up by himself now. He loves to see Penny outside, even when she licks him. He loves going for walks and jogs in his stroller. He loves Baby McDonald, a Baby Einstein DVD. Here are some pictures from this morning!
