18 Month Check-Up

Logan went to the doctor on Monday for his 18 month check-up. We got a healthy report. He weighed 26 pounds and 6 ounces (gained 2 pounds) and measured 33 3/4 inches (grew 2 1/2 inches)!  He did great until he had to get 2 shots. He cried, but was able to blow the nurse a kiss before she left the room! Our little boy is growing up sooo fast!!

Halloween 2014

Logan was a pumpkin this year!  MeMe and I made his shirt! Richard had to work, so we decided to just stay at home and pass out candy.  MeMe and Poppa and Ree Ree and Paw Paw came over to help us out.  Logan wasn't really sure about the trick-or-treaters.  He did not like any of the kids with masks on their faces, but he loved all the girls dressed as princesses.  By the end of the night, he was actually helping me put candy in their bags!  He loved telling everyone BYE!  He loves to eat Dum-Dum suckers!

Pumpkin Patch 2014

We were able to take Logan to the pumpkin patch this week.  I was really disappointed when I found out that Clanton was not having their pumpkin patch this year because we really enjoyed it last year.  I asked around and found Old Baker's Farm in Harpersville, so we decided to give it a try.  My navigation skills weren't too great, so we got lost on the way! Ha!  They had some little tractors for kids to ride, which Logan loved.  Logan was excited to see the chickens and the horse, but did not like the little pigs when they started grunting!  We rode the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch and picked us out some good pumpkins.  Logan was loving all the pumpkins, but wouldn't stay still long enough to get a lot of good pictures.  We still had fun!  Here are some pictures!

September Beach Trip

Since the weather didn't cooperate for Logan's first beach trip, we decided to go back!  My parents came with us this time.  We went back to Panama City Beach and stayed at the Grand Panama, which was great!  We had wonderful weather, except for a couple of rain showers in the afternoon, and the water was absolutely beautiful!!  Logan loved the water and enjoyed playing in the sand with his toys.  We were able to do lots of snorkeling.  Richard and I actually got to see a sea turtle swimming in the ocean.  It was by far the coolest thing that I have ever seen.  There were lots of sting rays and tons of fish.  We ate some great food and had a blast! Summer Fun

My Grandad sent a watermelon that he grew in his garden for Logan to enjoy!  Here are the pictures!  Thanks Grandad for a great tasting watermelon!!

15 Month Check Up

We went for Logan's 15 month check up last week.  We got to meet his new pediatrician, which we love!!  Logan got a healthy report!  He weighed 24 pounds and 6 ounces.  He measured 31 and 1/4 inches.  He had to get two shots and a finger stick, which he did not like at all!  Other than that, we had a great check up!

First Zoo Trip

We got to take Logan to the zoo for the first time this past week!  Overall, he loved it!! The weather was great and it wasn't too crowded, so we enjoyed our trip.  Logan loved seeing all the animals and riding the train.  The first animal that we saw was a hog in the petting part of the zoo.  The hog snorted and started walking towards us and Logan did not like it at all.  Other than the hog, he loved looking at the animals!

Logan's First Beach Trip

We were able to take Logan to the beach for the first time.  We got to stay with some wonderful friends and their little girl.  We ended up not having the best weather, but at least no one got sunburned!! Logan wasn't really sure about the sand at first, but he started to get used to it before we let.  We can't wait to take him back again!  Here are a few pictures.

Fourth of July

We had a great Fourth of July!  We got to see a lot of family and Logan was able to meet several of his cousins for the first time!  The weather was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend.
