35 Weeks

I am 35 weeks pregnant today!!!  We can't believe that Logan will be here in 5 weeks or less!!  We are getting so excited, and a little nervous too!  For the most part, everything is done for Logan's arrival.  We are just waiting for him to get here now!  Starting next week, I will be going to the doctor every week until I go into labor.  According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a honeydew melon this week.  He is approximately 18 inches long and around 5 1/4 pounds.  His kidneys are developed fully now and his liver is starting to process waste products.  Basically, he will just be gaining weight these next few weeks.  Here is my belly picture for the week!!

34 Weeks!!

 I am 34 weeks pregnant!!! It is really starting to sink in that in less than 6 weeks we are going to have a BABY!!!!  Logan had a baby shower this past Sunday and we are still overwhelmed at the love and generosity of our family and friends.  Logan got so many great things! Tons of adorable outfits and lots of useful gadgets.  And tons of diapers and wipes!  Logan is constantly moving around and kicking and punching.  We went to the doctor this morning for my 34 week check-up.  Everything seems to be going well!  According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a cantaloupe this week, about 4 3/4 pounds and almost 18 inches.  He is plumping out and filling out his skin.  His lungs and central nervous system are continuing to develop.  Here is my belly picture for the week!

This is also a picture a gift that we got at our shower.  I had never seen a diaper creation like this one before!!  They did a really good job!

33 Weeks

I am 33 weeks pregnant today!! I can't even express how fast time has gone by!! We just can't wait to meet Logan!  He is very active most days.  I am not sure what all he is doing in there, but he is constantly kicking and punching and moving around.  Sometimes, I will look down and my belly is an odd shape because of the way that he is positioned at the moment.  He makes me smile!  I have been trying to get him on video moving around, but the video just doesn't show his movements that well.  We have Logan's baby shower this Sunday and we are very excited!!  According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a pineapple this week.  He is gaining weight each and every day.  Here is my belly picture for the week!

We finally finished  Logan's nursery!! Now, he just needs to get here!!

32 Weeks

I am 32 weeks pregnant today!! Only 8 weeks or less left!!  We can't believe that Logan will be here so soon!!  We finally found a glider yesterday for his room and got it put together.  The only thing that we really have left is to get the stuff on his walls.  There should be pictures to come soon!  Everything went well at the 32 week doctor's visit this morning.  According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a jicama this week.  (Trust me, I had to look this one up!)  It is basically a Mexican yam or turnip.  So, Logan is somewhere around 3.75 pounds and 16.7 inches long.  He now has little fingernails and toenails.  He also has real hair, if he is going to have any.  He is about to hit a growth spurt these last weeks.  (I can't imagine, because my belly has already gotten so big!)  Here is my belly picture for the week!!
