So, we haven't forgotten about our puppy, Penny! She is not quite a year old yet, so she is still growing. She weighs about 55 pounds now!! We never thought that our little 6 pound puppy would get as big as she is, but we still love her! She loves playing with sticks and all her other toys. She must have something to chew on! We recently got her a little pool for the backyard, which she loves! I have never seen a dog who loves water more than Penny. She gets so excited when she sees us get the water hose out. I really think that she would play in the water all day long if we would let her. She has been such a good companion lately. I have been walking so much to try to get Logan here and Penny has been with me every step of the way. We usually go on a couple of walks each day, which she loves. Here is a recent picture of Penny!!

39 Weeks!!
I am 39 weeks pregnant today!!! Yes, 39 weeks! That means only one week left!! I am still feeling good, but we are so anxious and excited to meet Baby Logan! I am definitely moving a little more slowly than what I am used to, but I am still managing to get around. I am walking all the time, trying to get him here!! I am still working at this point. I have 2 and 1/2 more shifts scheduled before he gets here. Logan is still moving around like crazy. He has literally taken my breath away with a couple of his kicks or punches. Last week, I said that I had gained 28 pounds, but according to the doctor's office scales, I have gained 27 pounds, so I think I am going to go with their scales!! We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is still going well. Slowly making some progress each week. If Logan doesn't make his appearance before next Wednesday, then I will go Wednesday morning for an appointment. Wednesday night I will go into the hospital and start medication that will help with the labor and we will have a baby on Thursday, May 2nd. According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a mini-watermelon! (And I fully believe that!) He is somewhere around 20 inches and about 7 pounds. He is just adding weight and waiting for his arrival! Here is my belly picture for the week!

38 Weeks!!!
I am 38 weeks pregnant today!! Oh my!! It seems like just yesterday that we were finding out that we were pregnant and now there are 2 weeks, or less, left!! We can't wait to meet Logan! Things have still been going well. I am still working and am scheduled to work up until April 28th. I am usually pretty tired when I get home from working a 12 hour shift, but it really hasn't been that bad so far. I have gained about 28 pounds so far, so the extra weight is getting a little more difficult to carry around, but I am managing. People are definitely not afraid to comment on my belly and ask when the baby is due. I get all sorts of interesting comments and looks. Logan is still very active. His kicks are becoming quite strong. There are times when he literally moves my whole stomach. I have started to get a little nervous about the actual labor and delivery, but I know that God is going to take care of us as we go through that process. We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. According to the website that I am following, Logan is the length of a leek, which belongs to the onion and garlic family. He is roughly 19 1/2 inches long and on average about 6.8 pounds. His organs have developed and are ready for the outside world. Here is my belly picture for the week!

37 Weeks!!!
I am 37 weeks pregnant today!! Only 3 weeks, or less, left!! I know that I say this every week, but this pregnancy has flown by! It doesn't even seem like I should be this far along. We get more and more excited each day knowing that Logan will be here so soon! He is still moving around and kicking like crazy. We are still amazed at all his little and sometimes very, big movements. We were able to spend some time with some of our friends and their kids this past weekend. We were explaining to B, who will be 4 this year, that I have a baby in my belly. B kept looking at my belly and finally asked, "Did you eat the baby?" We thought it was hilarious!! We went to the doctor yesterday and everything seems to be going well! We will go back again next week. The website that I am following says that Logan is as long as a stalk of Swiss chard (again, I had to look this one up!). Swiss chard is a green, leafy vegetable that is commonly used in Mediterranean cooking. Basically, that means that Logan is approximately 19 inches long. He is probably measuring somewhere around 6 1/3 of a pound. His lungs are in the final stages of development. If he is going to have any hair, he probably already has it. Here is my belly picture for the week!!

36 Weeks
I am 36 weeks pregnant today!!! Oh my!! We are getting so close!! We went to the doctor this morning and everything still seems to be going well. My weekly visits start now, so I will be going back to the doctor each week from now until delivery. I have gained a total of about 25 pounds so far. We are starting to get everything ready for our trip to the hospital. We are trying to decide what all we should pack and making sure everything is in place. We are getting more nervous as Logan's arrival gets closer, but we are also getting more excited. I finally figured out when Logan has the hiccups! He has the hiccups usually every day and sometimes a couple of times during the day. According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a crenshaw melon this week (didn't know what this one was either!). It is basically a hybrid melon that is super sweet with a juicy, orange flesh. Logan now weighs approximately 6 pounds and is about 18 1/2 inches long. He is continuing to grow and starting to shed the covering on his skin that has been protecting him from the amniotic fluid. Here is my belly picture for the week!!
