4D Ultrasound Pictures

I went back this morning to try the 4D ultrasound again.  Logan was more cooperative this time, so we were actually able to see his face.  It is amazing to me that they are able to get pictures like this.  Now that we have seen him in pictures, we are ready to see him in person!!

31 Weeks

I am 31 weeks pregnant today!!!  Only 9 weeks, or less, left!!!  We went for my doctor's visit last week and tried to do the 4D ultrasound, but Logan was being a little stubborn.  He didn't really want us to see all of his face.  He didn't mind showing us his "boy parts", but that is not necessarily what I wanted to see.  I am going back tomorrow for them to try the 4D again.  Hopefully he will be a little more cooperative this time.  Last night, Richard had his hand on my belly trying to feel Logan move when all of a sudden it seemed like Logan did a flip.  Richard's eyes got so big and he said, "It's like he is trying to come out of there!".  We are still both amazed that our baby boy will be here so soon!  According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of four navel oranges.  He should be somewhere around 3.3 pounds and over 16 inches long.  He can now move his head from side to side.  He is starting to plump up and fill his skin out.  Here is my belly picture for the week!!

30 Weeks!!

I am 30 weeks pregnant today! WOW!  Only 10 weeks left!  I can't believe that our little baby boy will be here so soon!  It seems like we still have some getting ready to do before he gets here.  We are incredibly excited and also nervous about his arrival.  We pray each day that we will be the parents that we need to be for him!  We are about to head to the doctor's office for my 30 Week Visit and the 4D ultrasound!!  According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a head of cabbage this week.  He is a little over 15 1/2 inches long and weighs somewhere around 3 pounds.  His eyesight is continuing to develop as he gets closer to getting here.  Here is my belly picture for the week!!!

29 Weeks

I am 29 weeks pregnant today!  Only 11 weeks to go!  I can't put into words how much more excited we get each and every day!  People are definitely not afraid to ask when I am due or what I am having now.  It is very obvious that I am in fact pregnant.  We thought we had the nursery furniture laid out like we wanted it and now we are changing our minds.  Richard has been very patient with me as I ask him to "try the furniture this way" and "what would it look like if we did this".  So, needless to say, no pictures just yet.  We will go to the doctor next week for my 30 week visit and have the opportunity to have the 4D ultrasound done.  According to the website that I am following, Logan is the size of a butternut squash (about 2 1/2 pounds and 15 inches long).  His muscles and lungs are continuing to develop, along with his brain.  Here is my belly picture for the week!

28 Weeks

I am 28 weeks pregnant today!  I am officially in the third trimester, which is crazy to think about!  We can't wait for Logan to get here.  We are still working on the nursery.  Right now we are just trying to decide where to hang things on the walls.  We are also looking for some type of rocking chair or glider for his room, but we just haven't been able to find what we are looking for just yet.  I have been feeling really good this past week.  A few weeks ago, I was having some trouble getting comfortable at night, so I bought this Boppy Pregnancy Sleep Wedge, which basically just fits under your belly and helps support the extra weight.  The first night that I used it, I wasn't crazy about it, but now I think it really helps.  I have always been a stomach sleeper until the pregnancy, but this wedge helps me to keep from wanting to roll too far onto my stomach.  Logan is a very active little boy these days.  I feel him moving all the time, which I love!!!  We went for my 28 week doctor's appointment today.  Everything seems to be going well with the pregnancy.  Logan's heartbeat was in the 150's.  We have to start going every two weeks for visits now.  We will be able to do the 4D ultrasound in two weeks!  According to the website that I follow, Logan is the size of a Chinese cabbage.  In other words, he is about 2 & 1/4 pounds and a little over 14 inches long.  He can now blink his eyes and he has eyelashes.  Here is my belly picture for the week!
